Ball Screw Units : Ball Guided

Thomson's ball screw driven, ball guided positioning slides are designed for robust applications that demand high thrust and payloads with a need for high precision accuracy and stiffness.

MF (TF)

Thomson's Movopart® MF (TF Rapidtrak®) rodless actuator slides provide guided linear motion through a ball screw drive and a saddle that rides along the top of the actuator to carry the load.  Available in two versions: M (single nut) and MD (double nut), these ball guided units are designed to provide high load capacity with low friction for precise positioning.

WM

Thomson's POWERLine® WM positioning slide utilizes a patented screw support technology. In addition, its patented plastic coverstrip system allows operation in dirty environments keeping the internal system components fully protected while reducing friction to a minimum. The WM40 model of this family is specifically designed for miniaturized applications with extremely small dimensions.Learn more about WM >

MLSM

Thomson's FORCELine MLSM60D/80D positioning slides comes with a patented guide and screw support system. The guides are separated and positioned at a 45° angle to reduce the overall height. With its patented plastic cover band, these units can be installed in just about any direction.Learn more about MLSM >

2HB

Thomson's 2HB (AccuSlide) is a high performance slide table based on Thomson's continuously supported, ProfileRail system using square rail technology. The units are designed to absorb extremely high load torques and offer superior performance life in difficult applications.Learn more about 2HB >

2RB

Thomson's SuperSlide® 2RB positioning slides are continuously and intermittently supported systems with integral screw assemblies in both metric and english standard units. Based on Thomson's Round Rail technology, these units work well in applications where moderate stiffness and rigidity are required.Learn more about 2RB >

2DB

The 2DB positioning table (formerly known as SuperSlide® 2DB) is a continuously supported system designed for rigid applications moving medium to heavy duty loads.  With maximum travel lengths up to 2438 mm (96 in), these units can provide linear dynamic load forces up to 1557 N (350 lbf) with travel speeds as fast as 1059 mm/s (41.7 in/s).  An integrated ball or lead screw assembly with standard NEMA motor mounting is supported in a dual LinearRace® Rail package.Learn more about 2DB >

MS

Thomson's MicroStage® MS ultra compact linear slide tables are among the most compact, low cost, and lightweight ball guided systems on the market today.  The guide's design is based off Thomson's Super Ball Bushing technology and is ideal for automation in cramped areas.Learn more about MS >

WV

Thomson's DYNALine® WV positioning slides utilize a patented screw support technology. In addition, its patented plastic coverstrip system allows operation in dirty environments while keeping the internal system components fully protected. The WV Series differs from WM Series in that external guides are required.Learn more about WV >
