Compact Cartesian Coordinate Robots

Air Equipment Frustration Solution!! TOSHIBA MACHINE Has Newly Released
a Compact Cartesian Coordinate Robot "BA-C", a substitute for air equipment.

Energy conservation: For customer who is considering power conservation.

So far, when an air cylinder having a cylinder diameter of φ16 and a stroke of 100mm is used for 2,000 hours a year,

it has consumed an estimated 142.6kWh.

In contrast, our new BA-C, which uses the controller "CA01-M05" and has a rating of 3A at 24VDC,

consumes 72kWh when used for 2,000 hours a year. That is, the electricity expense dose shrink about by half!

Long-life: For customer who is hoping to option a more accurate stopping position.

So far, air equipment has the challenge that is needs hitting when it stops.
In contrast, BA-C enables high-precision positioning using servo control.
BA-C has resolved the challenge of hitting-to-stop, giving itself greater longevity.

Fast acceleration/deceleration: For customer who wants to operate robot with a stable torque up the high-speed range.

With its servomotor, BA-C can operate at a maximum of 800mm/s.

Expandable with the conventional BA-II Series: For customer who is hoping to use BA-C in combination with a conventional model (BA-II).

BA-C allows combining it with a conventional BA-II Series model and the combined system to be controlled by the model.
